One meaning of the  -escent suffix is from the Latin for; “starting to be, or becoming”.

As an adolescent is becoming an adult, this retiree is entering a new silver-haired stage of life.  There’s a sense of the world opening up.  It’s a time of exploration and freedom.  To seek ways to be of service and contribute to positive change in our world. To play with creative impulses put on hold during working life. To wake up every morning and ask “I wonder what fabulous thing is going to happen today?”

It feels similar to adolescence in many ways, but this time with an increased appreciation for

every       single       moment
